Why sign a Contract?
A contract is in place to determine what is the promise of performance, confirm the value of the service and protect and prepare both parties from/for unforeseen circumstances. This is a critical part of your event, you need to be sure of success. Our attention to detail spans from our initial meeting to beyond your function, it's the least you can expect.

Will you meet with us before we decide?
The first meeting is vital for both parties to ensure the chemistry is there to make the planning and the event itself an enjoyable experience. At All Music Productions we realize you will visit with many vendors during your planning, so we will come to you for a change. Once the decision has been made we will meet again to discuss the detail of your event.
How do I book for my event?
Our web site contains all you need to make a booking. Apart from large Corporate functions where the size of the party varies dramatically and requires a quote, all our rates are displayed under Rates in the web site. To book simply go to the Book Now area and download the agreement. Once you have confirmed the available dates with us, simply complete and sign the agreement, and finally, mail/fax it to us together with your cheque for the retainer (all cheques or money orders made payable to: All Music Productions). When payment has been received, you will receive a receipt by email.
What form of payment do you accept?
In most cases payment is made by cheque / money order, however we do accept VISA / MasterCard / American Express Credit Cards.

Are your DJ's interactive?
If that's what you want, the answer is yes. Prior to the event this type of information is discussed with you to be sure that you are getting what YOU want. Our DJ's can simply play the music, get interactive, or something in between. You decide. Having said that, our DJ's have lots of experience in reading the direction of a party, we may alter the original plan slightly if it will keep the dance floor full.
Does the DJ choose the music?
In most cases yes, we know what works and the songs that are "sure bets" to keep the dance floor full, however, we would have already discussed the songs you definitely want included in the play list (and some you don't want to hear, no matter who requests them). Our full library of songs goes to every event, it is highly unlikely we won't be able to fulfill any music request, afterall - that's our business.
Is the music so loud you cannot hold a conversation?
All Music Productions provides sound systems that focus the sound (and lighting) onto the dance floor. In small venues this is more of a challenge. If you are not dancing and are seated at your table you should still be able to chat. The music is loud enough to encourage you to dance when you hear your favourite tune, feel the urge to get on the dance floor and have the time of your life. In short, we try and find the happy medium for everybody.
Do you provide music during cocktails and dinner?
Absolutely, an assortment of light music will be played at a comfortable level from the time your guests arrive until you are ready to dance, its part of our service.
Do you charge extra for set up and strike?
The set up and strike is already included in the price. We will be ready long before your first guests arrive. In rare occasions, if the venue has no elevator or nearby parking, or is located in an outdoor setting with no refuge from the weather, we may assess the site for additional setup charges.
Do you provide a microphone for speeches?
Yes, a wireless mic is provided for your use.
Will you act as MC?
If required we will gladly MC the event for you. Our DJ's are hired based on their ability to perform such duties, and trained to handle such a requirement. There is no charge for this.
Is your music licensed to be played in public?
We are ultimately part of the music business and we respect the rights of the music makers. All Music Productions is fully licensed by the A.V.L.A. (Audio Video Licensing Association) to play the songs we carry in a public place. In addition, all event halls/schools/hotels are required to pay an annual fee to SOCAN to allow for the playing of music at each location. This small cost will have been built into your venue quote.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Thankfully, we have never had to deal with a situation requiring the need for liability insurance, however that is the very reason why we make sure that we are FULLY COVERED to protect all parties involved.
